Worth a Visit: Better Than Yours

Jerome Baker and the crew from BetterThanYours gave MarketingPopCulture.com a shout-out last week.  I did a little exploring of their site and afterwards, asked Jerome to tell me more about who they are and what they’re about.  Here’s what he had to say:

Better Than Yours is the online arm of our B.O.W.D. empire (Bent On World Domination).  Better Than Yours is about music, basketball, skating, djing, emceeing, etc.  We are fans of as well as contributors to many cultures and "scenes" throughout the U.S.  We are based in Philly, DC, and Phoenix, but have affiliates worldwide.

Our aim is to bring the best and be the best at everything we put out - daily posts on the blog, music (check out their MySpace page), stickers, and our upcoming t shirt run in 2006.  We are fans of everyone from aNYthing to Noam Chomsky to mid 90s hip hop and beyond.  We've been everything from graf writers to all state basketball players to our current status of college grads (and 1 soon to be) hoping to become influential DJs and MCs.

In other words: we're out to get and keep gettin it.

And they're not shy.  Amen.
